Craig was invited to join Navigation Wealth in 2022 having started his Financial Services career with Barclays Bank PLC 20 years ago, advising clients on all aspects of their retail banking requirements. Since then, he has built and established his own long-standing on-going business in the hospitality sector.
Craig assists clients in building wealth and security, enabling them to plan for a retirement, often working alongside their accountants and legal advisers.
His approach to bespoke personal and corporate financial planning is tailored to individual clients needs, helping them to meet their ambitions within agreed and defined timescales.
Craig’s experience and ability allows him to both analyse and understand the most complex financial situations clients find themselves in, yet still empathise on a personal level. His advice and solutions are presented as clear and unequivocal reports avoiding jargon and hyperbole.
Craig’s client base has been built around personal recommendations and he enjoys maintaining ongoing, long-term relationships with clients and their families. His portfolio ranges from professionals and business owners through to the smaller self-employed tradesmen and retirees.
Craig specialises in the challenges faced by people in:
• Understanding how life events could change needs and goals
• Strategic and tax efficient wealth management (including the use of onshore and offshore investments)
• Helping young couples become established and planning for the future
• Preparing for and moving through retirement
• Inheritance Tax mitigation
For his commercial clients, he continues to:
• Protect their businesses against the loss of key people
• Provide advice on tax efficient profit extraction
• Discuss corporate pension planning solutions
• Advise on Employer Sponsored Pension Schemes (auto enrolment)
• Work with the client’s team of employees, reviewing their benefits package
Outside of his working life Craig has two girls, Evie and Harriet who rightly take up most of his spare time. However, he can be found at many sporting events or traveling to another obscure holiday destination to quench his cultural thirst.
The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.
